Rent North started with a simple idea ... create the kind of places we would want to stay ourselves. Clean, comfortable, peaceful spaces where you can slow down, relax, and enjoy everything Northern Michigan has to offer.
We’re Jamie and Jon, born and raised in Northern Michigan. We grew up around the lakes, trails, snow, woods, and small towns that make this area such a special place. Jon is a builder and loves working with his hands and creating things that last. I'm is a Realtor and property manager who loves hospitality, hosting, and making sure every guest has a great experience.
Together, we combine building, real estate, and hospitality to create cabins, homes, and camping spaces that feel comfortable, well cared for, and welcoming. We take pride in keeping our places clean, peaceful, and ready for guests to relax the moment they walk in the door.
Whether you’re here for snowmobiling, skiing, fishing, hiking, boating, fall colors, or just a quiet getaway, Northern Michigan has a way of helping people slow down and enjoy life a little more. That’s what Rent North is all about ... giving people a place to stay while they make memories Up North.
